HS2 will be closing Rugby Road from Tuesday 1 September to Monday 28 September. The road closure will be in place 24/7, including weekends.
The footpath to the woods will also be closed for the same period.
There will be the following road closures in place over the weekends below: Saturday 3 October until Sunday 4 October 2026, between 7.00am – 6.00pm Saturday 17 October until Sunday 18 October 2026 between 7.00am – 6.00pm to complete the landscaping, new verges, road marking, signage and inspections for the new overbridge and return in the new year for the final culvert and drainage work.

Closure and diversion of PRoW W130b, to ensure users safety. The diversion will be in place until 31 December 2027. Pedestrians will still be able to safely navigate through the area by using the clearly signposted diversion. For further information follow the link. Coventry Road From Monday 5 October until Friday 16 October. A 24/7 road closure will be in place along Coventry Road. Ahead of the new road realignment of Coventry Road, several utility services will need to be diverted along the new overbridge. |
